Seizure of four heavy vehicles driven by drivers under the age of 15 in Yazd

The public and revolutionary prosecutor of Abarkuh, Yazd, says that in the past 72 hours, four heavy vehicles driven by drivers under the age of 15 have been seized in this city.

Mohammad Golestani stated on Monday, February 2nd that the prosecutor’s office has issued a long-term seizure order for these vehicles, and one of these vehicles was moving in the wrong direction on the road.

The state news agency IRNA wrote that the Yazd provincial police have reported several cases of heavy vehicles being driven by underage drivers on the roads of this province this year.

This news agency had previously reported that at least five cases of heavy vehicle driving by underage drivers had been identified on the roads of this province in Azar month of this year.

IRNA announced the age of the drivers of these vehicles to be between 11 and 16 years old.
