Conservative newspaper: People have lost hope in Raisi’s government
The Vatan Emrooz newspaper stated that people had pinned their hopes on the government and this government had made significant promises to the people, but it failed to fulfill some of these promises and, on the other hand, could not engage in dialogue with the people and convince them.
There are times when you make an effort but cannot fulfill your promise, so you go and have a dialogue and convince the people as to why you couldn’t. Unfortunately, the government couldn’t even convince the people, and this is one of the major reasons for the escalation of protests.
