Continuation of nighttime protests in Tehran and several other cities

On the evening of Saturday, December 24th, street protests continued in Tehran, Ahvaz, Isfahan, Babol, Bandar Abbas, and several other cities in Iran.

In videos released on Saturday evening, it is shown that protesters in the Chitgar neighborhood of Tehran chanted anti-government slogans such as ‘We are devoted to this land, bomb us and we will stay here.’

In Isfahan, protesters also chanted during the hundredth night of the popular uprising against the government.

Security forces in Bandar Abbas resorted to shooting and firing tear gas at protesters during Saturday night’s protests.

Continuation of night protests in Tehran and several other cities

Reports and videos shared on social networks indicate that on the evening of Monday, December 19, scattered gatherings took place in Tehran and several other cities.

Videos have been released showing gatherings and demonstrations of people without chanting slogans in Tehran’s Enghelab Square.

A video has also been released showing the entrance of a Basij base in the city of Golpayegan being set on fire.

Videos of protests and people chanting slogans in the city of Rasht have also been released.
