The Cyber Police announced the formation of 18 fraud cases related to the game Hamster Combat.

The Deputy of Social Affairs of the Cyber Police reported the formation of 18 fraud cases in connection with the game Hamster Combat.

Ramin Pashaei announced on Monday, June 11, that these cases are related to advertisements on Instagram or Telegram, where individuals claimed they could sell game cards or extra codes to citizens for receiving six million additional coins.

Mr. Pashaei also warned of another type of fraud, where some accounts in the name of this game might ask for money from individuals and even hack their accounts to deceive others as well.

In the Hamster Combat game on the Telegram social network, users are asked to repeatedly tap their phone screens with the ‘tap and earn money’ method in hopes of receiving cryptocurrency coins by hitting the game’s symbolic coins.

There are many ambiguities surrounding this game.
