The designer of the mandatory hijab bill became a faculty member at Al-Zahra University

Abolfazl Eghbali, the designer of the mandatory hijab bill known as the chastity and hijab bill, announced on his Telegram channel that he has become a faculty member at Al-Zahra University, writing that he hopes to be useful and effective for future generations in the field of gender and family studies.

Previously, in an interview with Iran Watchdog website, Eghbali considered an unveiled person to be a nuisance and stated that such a person should not be tolerated. Eghbali also mentioned that an artist whose life in the country is accompanied by norm-breaking and law-breaking should emigrate.

Last year, in relation to the proposal of fining improper hijab, Eghbali emphasized in a program on state TV that this proposal does not only apply to women, and improperly dressed men would also face fines ranging from 6 to 50 million.

He considered tight t-shirts and shorts as examples of improper hijab for men.
