The Tasnim News Agency wrote that new details from the football corruption case in the Mes Rafsanjan club show that significant expenses have been made for buying coins.
The corruption case in the Mes Rafsanjan club has been open for some time, and much has been said about it. However, with each passing day, more dimensions of this matter are being revealed.
While various figures have been mentioned for this case, investigations show that according to some reports, more than 1 billion and 350 million tomans have been spent on buying coins to be given to influential individuals in the football federation, the referees’ committee, and the disciplinary committee.
According to hearsay, this event occurred in the years 1400 and 1401 (Iranian calendar) in several stages and at different times and has been recorded under the club’s public relations expenses.
Meanwhile, some reports indicate that an amount of more than 16 billion and 500 million tomans has been presented as a fake invoice.
According to the judiciary officials of Kerman province, seven individuals are accused in this case so far: Majid Zindini, the managing director, and Ali Alizadeh, the club’s former deputy, Soheil Mehdi, the former head of the league organization’s competitions committee, Khodadad Afsharian, the former head of the referees’ committee, Fariborz Mahmoudzadeh, the then-responsible for the First Division League competitions, along with two media individuals are considered the accused in this case. Among them, Afsharian, Mehdi, and Mahmoudzadeh are in custody, and a media person who is the editor-in-chief of a website is released on bail.
