Installing these cameras is for security deterrence in Mashhad

Shahrara News reported yesterday that an image of a surveillance camera in Mashhad’s urban train was released, which had the capability of facial recognition. Investigations indicate that these cameras only displayed images of people and did not have the ability to identify individuals.

These cameras have apparently been installed for 6 months on the Mashhad railway and for 1 month at the airport.

The installation of these cameras and monitors has begun to enhance security deterrence in Mashhad. Given the incidents in some cities of the country, this development can contribute to establishing security in important areas of the city.
