Donald Trump: Iran came to the brink of agreement five times but backed down

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, claimed in an interview with Fox News that the Iranian government had approached a full agreement with Washington five times after the ceasefire, but each time backed down at the last moment.

Trump said every time they agree, the next day it’s as if we never talked, and this has happened five times. Something is wrong with them; honestly, they’re crazy.

He added that because they’re crazy, they shouldn’t be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.

The US President also claimed that Tehran had even agreed to completely hand over its enriched uranium stockpiles in recent negotiations.

Trump said regarding nuclear matters, they were supposed to give us the nuclear dust, everything we had asked for.

This is while officials of the Islamic Republic, including Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, have rejected accepting the US conditions.
