Donald Trump: Starmer should have helped us in the war

Donald Trump has said it is sad that the relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom is no longer the same as it used to be.

The American president, in an interview with The Sun newspaper, stated that it is very upsetting to see that our relationship is no longer like it used to be.

He also said that America does not need the UK to fight in the Middle East, but Starmer should have helped, he should have helped. Trump added that France has been great, they were all great, but the UK was very different from the others.

According to reports, the UK government initially rejected the US request to use its airbases in the war with Iran but agreed to it three days ago.

Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of the UK, said in parliament yesterday that his government does not believe in regime change from the air and emphasized that military action must have a legal basis and be deliberate with an achievable goal. He clarified that the UK’s participation will be purely defensive and will not involve any offensive actions.
