Donald Trump: We are in talks with Iran, but if we don’t reach an agreement, something bad might happen.

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, in his latest remarks about Iran, stated that his administration’s representatives are in talks with the government in Tehran, and he hopes these negotiations will be successful.

On Monday, February 1st, Trump said, ‘We are currently in talks with Iran, and I hope it yields a good result because if it doesn’t, something bad might happen.’

These remarks coincide with increased speculation about the possibility of a direct meeting between Abbas Araghchi and Steve Witkoff in the coming days, most likely in Istanbul.

Although these speculations have been mostly raised in American media, the news of Steve Witkoff’s meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister has increased the likelihood of these moves being related to the start of face-to-face negotiations between Tehran and Washington.
