Israeli tanks have entered the southern Gaza Strip.

Local witnesses told the French news agency on Monday that dozens of military tanks carrying Israeli forces and bulldozers have entered the southern Gaza Strip in the Khan Yunis camp area.

According to the report, Amina Abu Hala, a 59-year-old resident of the Gaza Strip, said that Israeli military vehicles have now penetrated into the village of Al-Qarara, located northeast of Khan Yunis, up to a depth of two kilometers.

Muaaz Mohammed, a 34-year-old witness, added that the tanks are currently traveling on the Salah al-Din road, which runs from the north to the south of the Gaza Strip.
