Dutch research institute journalists targeted by Israeli tank

Dutch journalists were targeted by an Israeli tank, according to a report from the Applied Scientific Research Organization in the Netherlands.

The report states that in October, the crew of an Israeli tank shot two bullets towards a group of journalists who were easily identifiable, killing a Reuters journalist and then likely firing heavily towards them for one minute and 45 seconds.

The report, prepared by the organization commissioned by Reuters to analyze the evidence related to the killing of news photographer Esam Abdullah by Reuters on October 13, confirms that a tank located 134 kilometers from Israel fired two 120-millimeter bullets at the journalists.

According to this report, the first bullet killed 37-year-old Esam Abdullah and severely injured 28-year-old Christina Anse, a photographer for the French news agency.
