Ebrahim Raisi met with Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin
Ebrahim Raisi and Vladimir Putin, the presidents of Iran and Russia, met and talked in the Kremlin on Thursday. One of the main topics of this meeting was the urgent effort to stop the bombing of Gaza and lift the siege.
The Russian president, in this conversation, described the relations with Iran as growing, referring to major infrastructure projects, shared interests, and cooperation in the energy sector.
Mr. Putin also announced the signing of an agreement to establish a free trade zone between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union in the last days of December.
Ebrahim Raisi, in this meeting, also referred to the Israel-Hamas war, describing Israel’s military operations in Gaza as genocide and a crime against humanity, and emphasized that the bombing of Gaza must be stopped as soon as possible.
