Eghbal Shakeri, Tehran’s representative in the Parliament, stated that the burning of mazut in some power plants has led to increased air pollution in several major cities. He said the lack of planning in the consumption of available resources and energies, from water and electricity to gas, has brought the country face to face with shortages today.
He added that the country’s energy resources are depleting, and we need the people to save energy.
