Emergency Landing of Turkish Airlines Plane in Istanbul
This plane, which was heading from Istanbul to Barcelona, was forced to return to Istanbul minutes after takeoff due to a bad smell that also triggered the plane’s danger sensors.
After landing, it was determined that the cause of the unpleasant smell was durian fruit in the cargo section, which emitted an odor similar to that of a corpse.
