End of Iran-Germany Trade Relations
The German Ministry of Economy states that export guarantees for trade and investment with Iran will no longer be issued, except in rare and exceptional cases.
Germany’s trade volume with the Islamic Republic in the first nine months of 2022 was about 1.5 billion euros, but it seems Berlin intends to unilaterally halt this trade.

From now on, export credit guarantees and investment, as well as educational programs and facilities for participating in trade exhibitions, will be halted.
German companies can no longer rely on federal government export and investment guarantees when trading with Iran.
The German Ministry of Economy says the worsening situation in Iran is very serious, and the federal government has suspended foreign trade financing tools and trade routes between Germany and Iran.
