Erdogan has called for the resignation of the President of the Turkish Football Federation.

Yesterday, the teams Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe were supposed to hold the Super Cup in Riyadh to mark the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic, wearing jerseys adorned with Atatürk. However, Saudi officials did not allow it, and the match was canceled.

Turkish media announced today that due to the cancellation of the match, Erdogan has urgently requested the President of the country’s Football Federation to resign.

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation has also demanded a compensation of 40 million dollars from the Turkish Football Federation.
