Erdogan: The Iran-US agreement is a significant step towards ending conflicts
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, welcomed the agreement between Iran and the United States, describing it as an important step towards reducing tensions in the region.
He said that in the war that began on February 28 as a result of Israel’s provocations, a very important step was taken last night, and added that the agreement to end hostilities between the United States and Iran has allowed the region to breathe a sigh of relief after months of tension and anxiety.
Erdogan also warned that some actors are not pleased with the strengthening of the peace atmosphere and may attempt to disrupt this process.
The Turkish president said that those who have pinned all their hopes on the continuation of gunfire in our region will undoubtedly be worried about the strengthening of the peace atmosphere.
Without naming anyone, he considered the statements made in recent days by the network of agents responsible for the bloodshed of innocent Palestinians and Lebanese as indicative of such an approach.
Erdogan emphasized that until the official signing of the agreement, all parties should refrain from statements and actions that could escalate tensions and remain vigilant against sabotage.
He also claimed that efforts to create conflict and division among Turks, Arabs, Kurds, and Iranians have failed.
