Erdogan says the war against Iran has challenged the world
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, stated that the war against Iran and the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz have caused economic problems and disruptions in the global supply chain.
He mentioned that many countries have faced economic pressures since the attacks against Iran began on February 28, and that disruptions in navigation through the Strait of Hormuz continue to affect the global economy.
Erdogan also noted that low-income groups have been the most affected by this crisis.
His remarks were made today during an economic meeting in Ankara, coinciding with numerous reports about the global consequences of the energy crisis and supply chain disruptions.
