Meanwhile, on April 19th, the United States vetoed the resolution requesting full membership of Palestine in the United Nations.
Twelve member countries of the Security Council had supported Palestine’s full membership in the United Nations, among them, in addition to France, China, and Russia, the names of Japan and South Korea, two Asian allies of the United States, were also seen.
