The EU Foreign Policy Chief states there is no alternative to the JCPOA

Kallas, the EU Foreign Policy Chief, reiterated political claims about our country’s peaceful nuclear program, emphasizing that there is no sustainable solution other than a diplomatic and multilateral approach to resolving this issue. In this context, he described the JCPOA as a key agreement.

Without mentioning which side is primarily responsible for the current state of JCPOA implementation, he claimed that the continuous expansion of Iran’s nuclear program is completely contrary to the country’s commitments, as confirmed in UN Security Council Resolution 2231.

The EU Foreign Policy Chief also stated that a multilateral approach like the JCPOA is a key element, and there is no sustainable alternative to a diplomatic solution.
