Europeans do not want the Super League
Reuters reported that after a court ruling stating that UEFA and FIFA violate EU laws by preventing the Super League, major leagues rejected the Super League in favor of the current situation.
Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga, says, ‘I bet a hundred dinners that we will not see the Super League in the short, medium, or long term. The miracle of the loaves and fishes was performed by Jesus, not by Bernd Reichart, the CEO of the Super League.’
The English Premier League, Bundesliga, and French League have emphasized that they reject competitions outside of UEFA.
The European Club Association, which represents about 500 clubs on the continent, also stated that the world of football has moved on from the Super League.
The Italian Football Federation, announcing its defense of sporting merit and respect for the international calendar, believes that the Super League is not compatible with these principles.
