Josep Borrell, the EU’s foreign policy chief, condemned the statements of Israeli ministers advocating right-wing extremist beliefs to cut off humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Borrell wrote on social media that in response to these statements, imposing sanctions should be a top priority for the EU and urged the Israeli government to distance itself from these provocative statements. He also called on Israel to participate in negotiations facilitated by the US, Qatar, and Egypt for an immediate ceasefire with goodwill.
