Extension of Rudi Voller’s contract as the sports director of the German national football team
The German Football Federation has extended its contract with Rudi Voller, the sports director of the national team, before the expiration of this contract. Voller will remain as the sports director of the German national football team until the end of the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
In February 2023, Rudi Voller started a new season as the sports director of the national team in his collaboration with the German Football Federation. Voller, who himself became a world champion with Germany in 1990, coached the German national team from 2000 to 2004 and led the team to the title of World Cup runner-up in the 2002 Korea-Japan tournament.
His current mission is the successful participation of the German national team in the 2024 European Championship, which Germany is hosting.
