Eyravani: Sanctions will not stop Iran’s nuclear progress

Saeed Eyravani, the representative of the Islamic Republic at the United Nations, on Friday, September 18, after a Security Council meeting, reacted to the return of UN sanctions by calling the actions of the three European countries and the United States illegal, hasty, and destructive to diplomacy. He emphasized that Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful and will not be halted by sanctions or military attack.

He said the Islamic Republic will decide with whom and on what basis to negotiate.
