Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani: I pledge to remain active after my release.

Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani, daughter of Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the former President of the Islamic Republic, wrote to Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, the head of the judiciary, stating that the majority of political, security, and ideological prisoners, including myself, Faezeh Hashemi, who are in the detention centers and prisons of the Islamic Republic, or are released on bail awaiting a verdict, or have been sentenced and are awaiting its execution, have not engaged in any illegal activities. Instead, we have acted according to our civic, human, and ethical duties and based on our conscience.

I pledge that if released, I will continue my activities. I remind you that I expect the officials of the Islamic Republic, especially the judiciary, the Ministry of Intelligence, and the IRGC Intelligence Protection, who have so far acted against the principles of human rights, to acknowledge this inaction or deviation from the law and to stop this inhumane and illegal process.
