Fars News Agency reports that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban, has traveled to Tehran.

Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, has traveled to Iran at the head of a high-level economic delegation.

Fars News Agency states that this 30-member economic delegation will visit Tehran and other cities in Iran and will meet with officials of the Islamic Republic.

The Office of the Taliban’s Economic Deputy has stated that this delegation has traveled to the country upon an official invitation from the Islamic Republic.

This office has said that during their visit to Iran, the delegation will discuss bilateral relations, trade, transportation, and other economic topics with Iranian officials.
