Farzaneh Sadegh received a vote of confidence as the second female minister since the revolution.

The Iranian parliament reviewed the qualifications of Farzaneh Sadegh, the proposed candidate for the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.

Ms. Sadegh is a graduate of architecture from the University of Tehran and was the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development until last year.

Farzaneh Sadegh will be the first female Minister of Roads in Iran’s history and the second female minister in the history of the Islamic Republic.
