Forouzaneh Sadegh has received a vote of confidence as the second female minister after the revolution.

The Iranian parliament has reviewed the qualifications of Forouzaneh Sadegh, the proposed nominee for the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.

Ms. Sadegh is a graduate of architecture from the University of Tehran and until last year, she was the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development.

Forouzaneh Sadegh will be the first female Minister of Roads in the history of Iran and the second female minister in the history of the Islamic Republic.
