Fatal Accident on Firouzkouh Road

A passenger bus plunged into a ravine on Firouzkouh Road on the morning of October 3, resulting in at least 4 fatalities among its passengers so far.

Shahin Fathi, the director of the Red Crescent Society of Tehran Province, announced that the accident occurred around 8 AM in front of the Sibiland Village Complex, and a helicopter has been dispatched to the crash site to transport the injured.

The head of the traffic police announced that driver fatigue and drowsiness are the main suspected causes of the bus overturning.

According to the Tehran Province Emergency Services report, the deaths of four people at the scene have been confirmed, and at least 20 injured have been rescued, but the rescue operation is still ongoing.

The condition of several of the injured has been reported as critical.

This bus was traveling from Qazvin towards Mazandaran.
