The FBI declared the shooting at Trump a terrorist act

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, known as the FBI, announced hours after the shooting at Donald Trump that this act was a terrorist act and reported the identification of the shooter.

While declaring this act as terrorism, the FBI also announced the name of Trump’s shooter. This 20-year-old from Pennsylvania is named Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Crooks was killed in this incident by gunfire from security forces. A few hours earlier, Donald Trump, the American Republican candidate, was targeted by a sniper during his campaign in Pennsylvania.

The bullet hit his ear, and his general condition is currently described as good.

In this incident, besides the shooter, one other person was killed and two attendees were injured.

Trump was shot while the Republican National Convention to officially select the party’s candidate is set to take place in a few days.
