FIFA announced the names of the referees for the Women’s Futsal World Cup; Golareh Nazemi and Zari Fathi among the selected.
The International Federation of Football, FIFA, released the list of referees for the first Women’s Futsal World Cup and announced the presence of two Iranian referees, Zari Fathi and Golareh Nazemi, in these competitions.
These matches will be held from November 21 to December 7, 2025, (30th of Aban to 16th of Azar 1404 in the Iranian calendar) with the participation of the world’s 16 top teams in the Philippines.
According to FIFA’s announcement, a total of 27 referees from four continental confederations have been selected to officiate this event, including 26 main referees and one assistant referee.
In a letter to member federations, FIFA emphasized that these competitions are considered a milestone in the development of women’s sports, and the selected referees will have a key role in conducting this pioneering tournament.
