Following an explosion in Bandar Abbas, people mourned during the Koocheh festival

Following an explosion in Bandar Abbas, people at the Koucha Festival began mourning.

The Koucha Music and Culture Festival, which is ongoing in the port of Bushehr, has turned into a mourning event after receiving news of the explosion in Bandar Abbas.

The Koucha Festival is a non-governmental and public event in Bushehr aimed at preserving local music, boosting tourism, and introducing the indigenous culture of this province.

This year’s festival was accompanied by controversies, and following the start of the fourth Koucha Festival in Bushehr, a number of protesters gathered in front of the governor’s office on Saturday, April 25th. These protests were in line with the opposition of some Friday prayer leaders to the holding of this festival.
