Following heavy US attacks on Yemen, health officials have announced that 53 people have been killed.

Health officials of the Houthi organization in Yemen say at least 53 people, including several children, have been killed in today’s heavy US airstrikes.

On Sunday, March 16, the US reported its extensive and heavy attacks on Houthi positions in Yemen, and the White House claimed that several Houthi officials were killed in these attacks.

In response to these attacks, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthis, said that in retaliation, his forces would target American ships in the Red Sea, and these attacks would continue until the US stops its attacks on Yemen.

In the latest statement from the Houthis, Anis al-Subahi, the spokesperson for the group’s health organization, announced on the social network X (formerly Twitter) that the death toll from these attacks is 53, and the number of injured is 98.

The Houthi health organization claims that five children were also among the dead in these attacks.

At the same time, the Houthis have reported new attacks on the port of Hodeidah at midnight on Sunday, but the US military has not yet commented on this.
