According to the Student News Agency, as announced by the Khuzestan Governorate, the Deputy of Urban Services of Ahvaz Municipality, the Mayor of District 3 of Ahvaz, the Executive Officer of District 3, and the Deputy Mayor in this area have been removed from their positions.
The Khuzestan Governorate has stated that these decisions have been made to ensure accountability and a thorough investigation of the dimensions of this incident, and the final results will be announced after the completion of the official investigations.
The father of Ahmad Baledi said on Tuesday night, after his son’s death, that he would not receive his son’s body unless the mayor leaves Ahvaz.
