Following the Zangezur corridor agreement, Turkey has started constructing a railway to Nakhchivan.

Turkey has begun constructing a railway line from the province of Kars in the northeast of the country towards Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan.

This move is in line with taking advantage of the peace agreement signed on August 8th this year, mediated by the United States, between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
