Mahmoud Vaezi, the current chief of staff of the former president, currently has a very low participation rate in nationwide polls, around 30%. We hope they will bring about positive conditions, but the Guardian Council did not do what they were supposed to do.
Regarding the rejection of Hassan Rouhani’s qualification in the Assembly of Experts elections, I think it is a very strange event. In the Assembly of Experts, it is clear that the majority of them have one mindset and do not accept three to four mindsets other than their own. Surely, they did not reject Mr. Rouhani for his scientific qualifications and expertise, but for his courage and political statements, which are the people’s words.
