The former president of the Stone Bakers Union, the allocation of flour to the bread bakers has decreased

The former president of the Stone Bakers Union has announced a decrease in the quota of nano bread flour.

Some reports from Iran indicate a reduction in the quota of nano bread flour and restrictions on bread sales in recent days.

The Iran Work News Agency, ILNA, quoting Asghar Pabarja, the former president of the Stone Bakers Union in Tehran, reported a significant decrease in the quota of nano bread flour. It stated that from each bag of high-quality flour, 110 to 115 pieces of stone bread are produced. Now, bakers are required to sell this amount of bread to 40 customers, with a maximum of three breads per person.

According to him, if the bakers want to give more bread to customers, they may face a reduction in the flour quota due to justifying non-standard sales.

However, some companies argue that the bakers have not followed the bread baking pattern, and the number of breads produced and sold by bakery units is higher than the actual amount.

Mr. Pabarja says that these restrictions have been implemented for about 10 days.

According to trade activists, the price of each bag of free flour is currently 600,000 tomans, and the price of each bag of subsidized flour is about 50,000 tomans.

Baking bread with free flour will lead to an increase in its price.
