Former Guard of US Embassy in Norway Convicted of Spying for Iran and Russia

A criminal court in Oslo, the capital of Norway, sentenced a former member of the security team at the US Embassy in the country to three years and seven months in prison on Thursday, October 24, for spying for Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the French news agency, the former guard of the US Embassy provided maps of the embassy and its activities to Moscow and Tehran between March and November 2024 in exchange for 10,000 euros from the Russian intelligence service and 0.017 Bitcoin from one of the intelligence agencies of the Islamic Republic.
