The police commander of Fuman announced that 7 people were arrested for publishing offensive content about the helicopter crash involving Raisi.
The police commander of Fuman has stated that seven individuals have been identified and detained for publishing offensive content regarding the deceased in the incident of the president’s helicopter crash and his companions.
According to Mehr News Agency, Hamidreza Feyzi reported that following the publication of offensive content and images intended to disturb public opinion about the deceased in service on social media, the issue was taken up by the police.
He added that these seven suspects, six men and one woman, were identified and arrested in separate operations in the city of Fuman, and after the case was filed, they were handed over to the judicial authority for legal proceedings.
Additionally, the Hrana News Agency has reported that Kamyar Bamdad, a comedian from Talesh, has also been arrested in connection with this. Civil activist Gohar Eshghi wrote on Instagram that the comedian’s arrest followed the publication of an Instagram story referencing Raisi’s helicopter crash.
In recent days, there have also been reports of phone threats and warnings, as well as the freezing of bank accounts of those who celebrated the death of Ebrahim Raisi.
