Four environmental activists imprisoned in Iran are pardoned and set to be released.

Four Iranian environmental activists who have been in prison since 1396 (2017-2018) were pardoned on Monday and are expected to be freed.

Niloufar Bayani, Sepideh Kashani, Houman Jokar, and Taher Ghadirian are environmental activists whose lawyer announced their pardon on Monday, 19 Farvardin.

Hojat Kermani, the lawyer of the environmental defendants, said in an interview with Shargh network, ‘I confirm this news based on my clients’ statements, and I hope they will be released from prison in the coming days.’
