Four-party agreement on the development road between Iraq, Turkey, Qatar, and the UAE.
During today’s visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Baghdad, a four-party memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the development road project between Iraq, Turkey, Qatar, and the UAE was signed.
Erdogan and his accompanying delegation met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi. After the meeting, the agreement for the development road project between Turkey and Iraq was signed.
The memorandum of understanding was signed at the Presidential Palace in Baghdad under the supervision of Erdogan and Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Kadhimi.
The Iraqi Prime Minister stated that the development road project acts as a bridge of communication between the people and cultures of the region, supporting their security and stability.
Abdul Qadir Oglu, the Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Razak Mahbiis, the Iraqi Minister of Transport, Qasim bin Saif Al-Sulaiti, the Qatari Minister of Transport and Communications, and Soheil Mohammed Al Mazrouei, the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, were also present at the contract signing ceremony.
