Qatar, which played a role in mediating the ceasefire along with the United States and Egypt, emphasized on Tuesday that the two-state solution is the only way forward. Egypt and Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the Palestinian Authority, have also strongly opposed Trump’s proposal
