From Telegram Channel Admin to CEO of Mehran Free Zone

Mehdi Rayati, the admin of the ‘Amena News of Free Zones’ channel, who was involved in the dismissal of Saeed Mohammad and Hojjat Abdolmaleki, was appointed as the acting head of the Secretariat’s Infrastructure, Urban Development, and Environment Management to protect the managers of this organization from Rayati’s influence after Masroor took office in the Free Zones Secretariat. Rayati’s demands progressed to the point where, in the last weeks of Masroor’s tenure, before his dismissal, to appease Rayati, he was appointed as the CEO and board member of Mehran Free Zone.

For years, Mehdi Rayati has managed to create a prominent position for himself by leveraging opportunities in the free zones, reaching the CEO position of Mehran Free Zone solely through a Telegram channel and without even minimal expertise. Despite criticisms for his non-native status and lack of relevant expertise and knowledge, he is currently advancing his personal agenda.

Unfortunately, despite the fact that his contracts and many of his actions in the Mehran Free Zone have been criticized and objected to by the Secretariat’s oversight bodies, he has prevented the entry of these oversight bodies by using his media tool, the Telegram channel, and indirectly threatening managers.
