The news of Alexei Navalny’s death, a prominent lawyer, politician, and critic of Putin, at the age of 47, was officially announced by prison authorities near the North Pole in Siberia on February 16th.
The exact cause of his death at this age is not yet clear, but Yulia Navalnaya, Mr. Navalny’s wife, has directly blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for his death.
