Iranians gather in Toronto despite heavy snowfall to support the people of Iran
A significant number of Iranians residing in Toronto and monarchist supporters gathered in the north of the city on Saturday, January 27th, despite heavy snowfall, to demonstrate their support for the people of Iran.
Participants in this gathering held placards and chanted slogans, calling for serious attention and action from the international community to help the people of Iran and to end the oppression.
During the protest, the snowfall intensified, but despite the cold weather and adverse conditions, the attendees not only did not leave the gathering but continued with more motivation and unity, emphasizing their ongoing support for the people of Iran.
The protesters also stressed that the silence of the international community regarding what is happening in Iran is tantamount to ignoring the basic rights of the people, and they called on governments and international organizations to stand with the Iranian nation.
In this gathering, by calling out the name of Reza Pahlavi, some participants considered him an option for transitioning from the current situation and emphasized the necessity of national unity to achieve freedom and democracy.
