The German Chancellor expressed concern about the possibility of an imminent Iranian attack on Israel.

The German Chancellor declared the situation very serious in an interview after meeting with the new Prime Minister of Georgia in Berlin.

Olaf Scholz added that both he and Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock made every effort to make it clear to Iran that no military operations should take place here.

Yesterday, in a phone conversation between the foreign ministers of Iran and Germany, Annalena Baerbock stated that no one is interested in escalating tensions in the Middle East, while Amir-Abdollahian considered legitimate defense and punishing the aggressor a necessity.

The American newspaper Wall Street Journal predicted that Iran is likely to carry out a retaliatory attack against Israel within the next 48 hours.
