The German Foreign Minister discussed the tense situation in the Middle East with Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

The German Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday that Annalena Baerbock, the country’s Foreign Minister, had a phone conversation with her Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, about the tense situation in the Middle East.

According to the same report, Annalena Baerbock emphasized that preventing an escalation of tensions in the region should be in everyone’s interest.

Berlin also called on all parties to act responsibly and show restraint.
