Germany confirmed the return of its ambassador to Tehran

According to the German news agency, Markus Potzel, the German ambassador to Iran who had been recalled to Berlin following the death of Jamshid Sharmahd, has returned to Tehran.

The spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry stated that Potzel has returned to Tehran to emphasize our concerns on the ground.

Among our concerns are the transfer of Jamshid Sharmahd’s body and other issues regarding our detained individuals.
