Government’s Preparations for Dissolving the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults
Ali Asghar Seyyedabadi, a researcher of children’s and young adult literature, announced on his Instagram page through a note about the government’s preparations for dissolving the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults. In part of this note, it is mentioned
Among the topics under review by the government, the request to transfer the libraries of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults to the Public Libraries Institution is very strange and its consequences are concerning. This request is under review in the Commission for Public Affairs Management and Human Capital of the government. Proposing such a demand during one of the weakest management periods of the Institute is very dangerous, and agreeing to it is tantamount to initiating the dissolution of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults because the library at the Institute is fundamentally different from what is defined in the Public Libraries Institution.
